Secondary antibodies that are second to none

About Southern Biotech

Founded in 1982, Southern Biotech develops and manufactures research antibodies and immunological reagents that support the detection, characterisation and analysis of biological targets across basic and applied life science research. Originating from expertise in cellular immunology, the company focuses on the development, purification and conjugation of monoclonal and polyclonal antibodies for use in immunology, cell biology, infectious disease, cancer, neuroscience, pathology and veterinary research. Its antibody portfolio enables researchers to identify cellular markers, investigate immune responses and perform quantitative and qualitative analyses across a range of experimental systems.

Southern Biotech offers an extensive catalogue of primary and secondary antibodies, including fluorochrome-conjugated antibodies for flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry, immunocytochemistry, ELISA, western blotting and immunoprecipitation workflows. The portfolio also includes Low Endotoxin/Azide Free (LE/AF) reagents, purified immunoglobulins and isotype controls, extracellular matrix proteins and antibodies, streptavidin and Neutralite Avidin reagents, F(ab) and F(ab')2 antibody fragments, and assay kits such as ApoScreen® Annexin V apoptosis assays, isotyping/clonotyping ELISA kits and mycoplasma detection kits.
