Founded through the integration of Nordic Immunological Laboratories, established in 1964, and MUbio Products, a Maastricht University spin-out founded in 2000, Nordic-MUbio develops and manufactures antibody reagents and immunological research tools for life science applications. The company specialises in monoclonal and polyclonal antibodies targeting cell adhesion molecules, nuclear proteins, cytoskeletal proteins, CD markers and other biologically relevant targets. Its reagents support a broad range of workflows including immunohistochemistry, flow cytometry, western blotting, immunofluorescence and biomarker research. Nordic-MUbio is also recognised for its extensive portfolio of antibodies validated for zebrafish research, enabling studies in developmental biology, disease modelling and translational research.

Product families include the FIX&PERM® Cell Fixation and Permeabilization Kit for intracellular flow cytometry, SCICONS™ anti-dsRNA antibodies and ELISA kits for viral research, Biologo reagents, BrdU proliferation assays and specialised antibodies for cancer, stem cell, immunology and cell biology applications. Nordic-MUbio also develops and validates antibodies and antigens for diagnostic assay development, including oncology-related biomarkers.
